The Verkada AL54-MS is a smart, connected mortise wireless lock — available here in the Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) variation — that upgrades traditional lock-and-key systems with centralized access control and management through Verkada Command.
- Three core variations available: conventional, full-size interchangeable, and small format interchangeable (SFIC)
- Supports a wide array of credentials: Low Frequency (125 KHz), High Frequency (13.56 MHz), Mobile NFC (13.56 MHz such as Apple Wallet), and Bluetooth Low Energy (2.4 GHz), plus a built-in reflective sensor for Bluetooth Intent Unlock
- Long-range wireless via Verkada's VLink protocol: connect up to 16 locks to a WH32 wireless hub, within a 150 ft radius (up to 2000 ft with clear line of sight)
- Powered by 8x AA L91 lithium batteries with up to 18 months of battery life; USB-C backup power via a 5V power bank
- Intuitive interior and exterior LED feedback shows access granted, access denied, lockdown, and connectivity status
- IP65 / IK08 rated, ANSI Grade 1, with proactive alerts for low battery, offline devices, and doors held or forced open
