1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Monarch Connected website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the website or use our services.

2. Products and Services

Monarch Connected is an authorized reseller of Verkada security cameras, environmental sensors, access control systems, and related products. All product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Monarch Connected reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times and costs vary based on the products ordered and the delivery location. Monarch Connected is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

5. Warranties

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer (Verkada). Verkada cameras include a 10-year hardware warranty. Environmental sensors include a 5-year hardware warranty. Monarch Connected does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer. Please refer to Verkada's warranty terms for detailed coverage information.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Products must be in their original packaging and in new condition. A restocking fee may apply. Contact sales@monarchconnected.com or call (415) 326-3592 to initiate a return. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned product.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Monarch Connected or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. Verkada and all Verkada product names are trademarks of Verkada Inc.

8. Limitation of Liability

Monarch Connected shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

10. Nico Call Alerts (SMS Notifications)

Nico Call Alerts is an SMS notification program operated by ELD Experts LLC, the legal entity that operates Monarch Connected. It serves businesses that subscribe to Nico, our AI phone answering service. When a call to a subscribing business's phone line ends, we send a short text summary of that call — the caller's phone number and what the call was about, such as a reservation or a takeout order request — to the mobile number the business owner provided.

Participation is optional. Text alerts are not required to purchase or use Nico. Call summaries are delivered to the customer's Nico Slack channel by default, and a customer who declines text alerts receives the same service at the same price. Business owners opt in as a separate, optional step during onboarding by providing the specific mobile number to use and confirming in writing that they agree to receive these messages. Only a business owner may opt in their own number.

Message frequency varies, typically one message per call received on the subscribing business's line. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile information and text-messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are not sold. See our Privacy Policy for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
