The Verkada QX51 connects up to two wired sensors to a Better Sensor Protocol (BSP) addressable sensor run, making it easy to extend alarm coverage over long distances and take over legacy addressable sensors on existing wiring. Up to 100 QX51s daisy-chain on a single pair of wires that carries both power and data, and each adapter has two input zones (one powered, one unpowered) — so one BSP run can serve up to 200 sensors. The first QX51 connects to a BSP port on a Verkada alarm panel (BP42) or to a QX61 BSP RS-485 adapter on a BP52.
