Overview
The Verkada QM21-R is a wired ceiling-mount motion sensor for Verkada Alarms, built for the Better Sensor Protocol (BSP). BSP sensors wire straight into an addressable daisy-chained loop with no sensor adapter, so one wire run can carry many sensors instead of a home run per device.
- 15ft (4.5m) maximum detection range from a ceiling mount
- Connects directly to a BSP loop on the BP42 or BP52 Alarm Panel, or a BE32 Expander — no QX51 adapter needed
- Powered from the loop at 12–36V DC, drawing 0.3W maximum
- Breakaway-tab tamper switch reports removal attempts to Command
- Pair a context camera in one click, then configure parameters and partitions remotely — no on-site programming
- Live and historical sensor activity visible across every site in Command, and a sensor can be muted for a set period
- FCC and ISED certified, 10-year warranty
