The Verkada ACC-WH-ANT-1 is an optional directional external antenna for the AW33 Wireless Access Controller. It focuses the VLink signal along a single aimed path, increasing usable wireless range 2–2.5 times in that direction — for a door beyond the reach of the AW33's internal antenna, such as a detached building, outbuilding, gatehouse or parking structure with no network connection of its own. Aiming the antenna at the target lock recovers signal that would otherwise be lost to distance or intervening building materials.
Once the external antenna is installed, the AW33's internal hub is disabled — the controller uses one or the other.
